| Warren Alpert, founder of Xtra Mart (subsidiary of Warren Equities) started this business in 1950 with little more than a thousand dollars and a used car. Today, Warren Equities serves as the holding company for 6 separate companies marketing petroleum, food items, promotional services, transportation and real estate with revenues in excess of one billion dollars per year.
Xtra Mart continues to be a driving force in the convenience store industry, adding services like car washes and hot food items to its menu of offerings for visitors. Each year we expand our list of stores in 10 states from Maine to Virginia so that we may reach out to new customers. Yet despite our rapid growth, Xtra Mart stays true to its promise of convenience and service for all of its customers, today and into the future!
